My Sacred Point of View

I am in the centre of my universe. You are in the centre of yours. From this vantage point I come to see the views we share differently and you come to see, from your unique perspective, our shared experiences differently too. We all live in our own reality and that is good.

Over six billion realities overlap, bounce off and interact with each other; over six billion realities are all true. Most often, because we are “group animals”, we interact with each other. That is the moment we can transcend out of our own bubble of reality and be grander than that and help others with our humane feelings of love, empathy and sympathy.

What happens when our individual realities don’t gel and a shared vision is seemingly far away? I love to think – and it has been my experience, and I am learning -  that those characteristics: love, empathy and sympathy, will come rushing forwards. So I can  see and empathise with the issue someone else is bringing up, feel love for that person and feel sympathy in my heart for their plight. It does not mean that I from that moment forgo the feelings I have around that issue, but what may start happening, is that we both can get a clearer stance on our Sacred Points of View. Then the gelling starts. I can become more gentle and open up a little more and so can the other. Our very separate points of view can become more a  joint Sacred Point of View and  harmony will be restored in our relationship. Whether this is a relationship with your partner, neighbour, your greengrocer or your relationship with the natural world.

Getting older helps me in the gelling process, however, ironically, getting older helps me too to understand that my own point of view is not that bad and that it actually feels good to stand my ground with love, empathy and sympathy for myself and the other.

Working with clients gives me the opportunity to love, empathise and sympathise with them for the amount of time we are together -  be it through holistic energy treatments, a long distance reading or a face to face one at my home. When I tune-in to my clients’ energy field, plant and animal energies become visible to me, as well as spirit helpers in other forms. It is also important to love, empathise and sympathise with those energies and in transferring what the different realms have to convey clients can open up to receive healing however it manifests.

I’ve been working with plant energies for many years and I love it when the universe comes with lessons and experiences I need to have. A few weeks ago, a dream came back I’d had in the 1980’s: I’m walking in a forest and ahead of me two oak spirits in the guise of two acorns with legs and arms, come skipping and jumping and frolicking towards me. Shouting: “Hurraaayyy! She “sees” us again! She “sees” us again!” I woke up from that short dream convinced that I was so loved by nature, and that my love for nature could be boundless too; from that moment on, nature became more a part of my Sacred Point of View.

Having had the ‘flu for the last two weeks and an energetic “dip” (they are all gone now I’m glad to say), it felt in hindsight, that I’d lost my Sacred Point of View. Some synchronicities have helped me finding the connection with my View again:  the dream coming back in my consciousness and last Friday Pam Montgomery,  who’s life is dedicated to working with plant energies, visited us and talked inspirationally about her work with plants. And the two talks Sig and I heard during the Fountain-International conference this weekend in Torqay about flower essences by Andrew Tresidder and the wonderful work of Colin and Diane Kingshott who have found a unique way to communicate with the plant kingdom, made me aware again of the importance of my connection with plant energies.

I feel that nature and I have always gelled and are still gelling, and nature has helped me to see and feel again how I can help myself and my clients by actively strengthen my connection with the plant kingdom, so I can be more aware of my own Sacred Point of Views, my clients’ and those of the natural world around me.

Love,

I was bowled over by Colin’s talk at the Fountain Conference. His description of the choirs of trees singing all day long, really impressed me and stuck in my mind. So much for the peace and quiet of the countryside !
It inspired me to do some tree healing with an old friend in Totnes before I left. When I got back to London later he phoned to say that the blockage that had been bothering him had miraculously gone ten minutes after I left.He thought it was me doing the healing. I know it was the tree. Powerful old beings.

Hi Chris, I liked your talk a lot and I was sorry to see that your time was cut short…. I just loved the idea of a Guardian Spirit for London connected with that (small?) piece of land. More Power to the Maidens!

Thank you for sharing the story of your friend and the tree, and you… it was probably a t(h)ree way healing!
